The idea fort the “Initiative for Education in Anthroposophic Medicine” arose from the urge of a group of young medical students to support other people, who already during the time of their medical study are interested in anthroposophic medicine, however it may be needed: financially, to allow them to realize their own intentions, or ideally by means of mentoring, which provides a mentor as person to turn to.
Own experiences have shown us, how enrichening it can be for the own steps in the medical training and for the own personal development to work already during the study of medicine with the ideas of anthroposophic medicine. Medical practice is and will further be a profession, which raises questions concerning the human being, the idea of man and the personal attitude, the personal ideals of the doctors. Through the foundation of the “Initiative for Education in Anthroposophic Medicine” we hope to offer support to future doctors on the ways they may choose to take.
